Please encourage your friends and family to vote on-line or with in-person assistance from Township of Cavan-Monaghan staff. I have provided here information from our Township election staff about eligibility, voters list, and ward boundaries, with Button links to election staff emails. The voting period is between October 11th and October 24th, 2022. It's IMPORTANT, that we all have our say.
To our Cavan Monaghan Council (2018-2022), Scott McFadden (Mayor), Matthew Graham (Deputy Mayor), and Councillors Tim Belch, Ryan Huntley and (late) Cathy Moore:
I am deeply appreciative of your service to our community over the past four years. You have brought us through some very tough times, made hard democratic decisions for the greater good of our Township; and, most importantly, you have demonstrated the power of collaboration. Great accomplishments have been made and you have set the groundwork for others to come.
For those of you who are seeking re-election, I commend you for staying the course.
You are a classy group of politicians. Best wishes to all of you.
